About Ms. Stuckey

Hello Everyone,

My name is Ashleigh Stuckey and I have been the school counselor at Keller since Fall 2017. I love Keller Elementary! The counselor program supports students learning and provide services for staff, families and students.

Teachers have access to several curriculums and activities to support their Social Emotional Learning (SEL) slot each school day. Some of them may include Zones of Regulation, Second Step, Purposefull People and more! My focus is to supplement their lessons with Kelso’s Choice and Second Step bullying unit. Lessons will take place in-person as well as through videos I have created. I also host small groups typically focusing on emotional regulation/friendship and can check in with students one on one for problem solving. Reach out anytime if you have any questions.

I Support Keller Students and Families In a variety of ways:

Individual Student Check-ins: Students may request to see me or may be referred by a teacher or parent. Unlike outside therapy, student check-ins are usually brief, and solution focused.

Small Groups: I offer small group counseling for students who need extra support. In most recent years groups have been on the topic of emotional regulation.

Family Support: I work with families to connect them with resources within their community. If you need food, clothing, holiday support etc. let me know. Feel free to check out the community list on the Lake Washington website as well.

Counselor Lessons: Lessons are Social Emotional Learning focused. Counselor lessons include topics such as problem-solving, empathy, emotion management and bullying prevention.
