Keller Elementary teacher honored on "The Big Day"

The University of Washington Spirit team and mascot Harry the Husky were on hand at Keller Elementary Tuesday, September 19, to present fourth grade teacher Paige Snider with a $1,000 check to use in her classroom. Each year, the College Football Playoff Foundation launches their Extra Yard for Teachers initiative that pumps funding into schools that are close to college football programs. Tuesday was “The Big Day” when colleges throughout the nation honor local teachers and schools.
