Video: Juanita-area schools perform together at regional choir concert

Students from across the Juanita learning community came together on February 5 for a heartwarming regional choir concert. The event, hosted inside the Juanita High School Field House, brought together young singers from Keller Elementary, Juanita Elementary, Muir Elementary, Thoreau Elementary, Kamiakin Middle School, Finn Hill Middle School and the Juanita High School choir.

The combined choir performed the uplifting piece “Sisi Ni Moja,” a song whose title means “We Are One” in Swahili. The message behind the music served as a reminder that, despite our differences, all human beings share much in common. Students of all ages stood shoulder to shoulder, filling the space with harmony, unity and joy.
